HEALTH & SAFETY
- What procedures have you put in place in relation to Work Place Health and Safety? Specifically Hygiene measures, First Aid, Electrical Safety, and Emergency procedures.
- Do you work with an assistant or provide spotters at your newborn sessions? If not, will you allow me to spot my baby during a session?
- What happens in the case of a medical problem/emergency?
- Are you up to date with your vaccinations – specifically those relevant to pregnant women and newborns? Can you provide a copy of the vaccinations you have had?
- What will happen in the case of illness, your own or otherwise?
- How do ensure good hygiene with the props and materials being used?
BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS
- Are you a registered business/are you licensed?
- Are you insured and what type of insurance/s do you have?
- Do you have a contract? And what are your terms and conditions?
- Do you provide information on how to prepare for the session?
- Will you release copyright on my images?
- If I purchase the digital copies of the images are they print released?
SESSION LOGISTICS
- Do you have a professional studio? Is this a commercial shop front studio or a studio set up in your home?
- If you do not have a studio, do you come to my home or do you hire a studio space?
- Can I view the studio before the session?
- Is there parking on-site or nearby?
- How easy is the studio to access? Is it on the ground floor? Are there stairs and/or a lift?
- What are your business hours?
- Are siblings welcome and are there child friendly facilities and activities to keep them entertained?
- What baby changing and feeding facilities are there in the studio?
- Are other family members, such as grandparents, welcome to attend the session?
- Are refreshments provided?
- How long is allocated for the session? (It should not be less than 3hours)

- What if we need to reschedule? What happens if we just aren’t ready?

- Do you use a professional print lab?
- Are archival inks used for your printed products? (Archival inks will last a lifetime and not fade!)
- What is the enlargement quality of your digital images?
- When and how do I pay?

- Do you offer Payment Plans? Are your payment plans interest free? Which company are they through?
